WPS Aerospace Engineering Design
"Game Changing" Technology Development Summary
Wind Power Systems™ has benefited from research and development through its engagement with Aeronautical PHD's and Aerospace Scientists. This R & D, while saving many months of trial and error testing, has led to the optimization and third party validation of the superiority of the WPS “Small & Micro Wind” turbine technology. The result has been a remarkably robust, compact, and potentially game changing system, whose performance characteristics will dramatically save both money and precious earth resources, while at the same time bringing small and micro wind into the "mainstream" of alternative energy.

Optimized by aerospace and mechanical engineers, the advanced WPS turbine technology uses many of the same basic principles as these scientists employed in their NASA high altitude flying wing projects. After extensive study of current turbine design, patents, and marketplace, the research engineers created a unique approach to the age old challenge of how to derive more power from less wind. The result has been the promise of greater energy derived from a smaller, lighter, and more vigorous turbine design.
The WPS aeronautical scientists developed the optimized WPS turbine using the latest in wind tunnel and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) testing. In the process, they spawned novel theoretical formulas to extract the maximum data possible from each test and to then apply the data to affect changes in the turbine design, resulting in real world technological, market, and performance differentiations in the WPS unit. Various distinctions are barely discernable while others are obvious and potentially groundbreaking. The net result is a real world Bleeding Edge “Small & Micro” wind turbine that delivers more power from less wind in a concise, robust, and more cost-effective fashion than any other small wind turbine on the market.
